I wanted a little guidance so I booked a kayak, dig, and sift adventure with my guide Ryn, she was awesome right from the first phone call on through. I decided on a whim cause it match my schedule, but she informed me what kind of gear to get and nailed it. Do you know it was cold and you really didn't want to be wet. So with new gear in hand I met her at the peace River she had the kayaks in the water ready to go waiting on me I was like thank you for the wait. She's very knowledgeable about the area you could tell she cares about the area and she was very helpful me being green I want to know what to look out for and all that good stuff to be able to become a good fossil Hunter.She was not shy to share her knowledge. If you want a low key way to get familiar with the area you should inquire the link below. If your new she will hook you up, and if you're anything like US, You will be saying "we can leave this spot after the next scoop" and stay another hour." JD

"My husband and I booked a 4-hour paddle and sift adventure on the Peace River with Ryn for our fossil enthusiast 7yo’s birthday, and we had the best experience! Ryn took the time to answer all of my questions over the phone before booking and suggested we start with a 4-hour trip, which was a great call. She told us what to expect and what to bring and all we had to do was show up! It was a DELIGHT to go out with an expert and follow her lead. We all learned so much about fossils, and I never even took my phone out of the dry bag, because Ryn took pictures throughout the trip and texted them to me after. (Moms especially will appreciate what a luxury this is!) Being present together as a family in nature, finding lots of special treasures, AND having great photos taken by our thoughtful guide to remember the day and share with family and friends, was just a dream!
